I’ve been really excited about a re-do of my logo to start off 2013.
I wanted something to move forward with that I could feel really represented my company’s identity. I couldn’t think of a better candidate other than my cousin, Marc Johns, for the job. With lots of design experience and not only than that, a wonderful ability to draw, I knew Marc would be able to reproduce what I had in mind. Marc is a full time artist now, and no longer does logo design. Luckily for me he was willing to make an exception, being that I am his cousin, which I am very grateful for. I love the hand-written & hand-drawn look that he created for me. What do you think?
The seagull is a mainstay for me. It is representative of the meaning of my first name in the Welsh language, as well as my first love of photographing nature and my continuous favoritism for shooting outdoors whenever possible.
I’ve already integrated the new design onto my website…
and my facebook page…
If you’ve never seen the whimsical drawings of Marc Johns, I suggest you head on over to his website.
There, you’ll discover that people the world over have fallen in love with his original works so much, they have even been tattooing them on their bodies.
I warn you, you may spend hours browsing his fun drawings, and then discovering that t-shirts & iphone cases might be a good idea…
or better yet, owning a copy of each of his two books, which are jam-packed with all the very best.
